Alzheimers/ dementia?

My friend's mother has what appears to be severe alzheimers dementia and have never been medically treated.She's 80 years elderly. She he care for her next to perscriptions or in an alternative thing. I need courteous tipsAlzheimers/ dementia?

My gran have dementia.She got some medication to oblige her.I helped her alot and talk to her so she was never lonely.
my mom is currently contained by the end stage of Alzheimer's disease...your friend desires first off to hold an accurate diagnosis ; the symptoms could be many other diseases as capably as drug interactions , etc . so, please take "Mom"to a physician ASAP .the time for medical assistance is now.honest luck !
There are some organization down in the Yellow Pages that can sustain with time-out for the meticulousness giver. They're set up close to a day exactness for Elders who have Alzheimer's.

If she has never be medically treated and her caregivers are not helping her, or if you are concerned about her ably being, call for Social Services and ask them to intervene. While there may not be anything medically that can be done, oftentime social workers can put the nearest and dearest in contact next to help.
She wants to get a formal diagnosis from a medical doctor up to that time any treatment can be started. A lot of things cause dementia (Alzheimer's is lately one FORM of dementia) or similar symptoms. Her grandmother will need to endure cognitive testing, blood test and some kind of brain-scan (like an MRI).
