Any cure for Trichotillomania?

Why the urge to pull out hackle?Any cure for Trichotillomania?
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is often used to treat Trichotillomania.
CBT seek to alter behavior by identifying the precise factor that trigger hair pulling and erudition skills to interrupt and redirect responses to those triggers.
CBT should be perform by a therapist trained within this method. The therapist will promote hair pullers to develop an increased awareness of the times of time, emotional states, and other factor that promote hair pulling, as an substantial precursor to being competent to control the behavior.
Some hair pullers own had nouns with simple behavioral devices such as putting bandage on their fingers to interfere with pulling, keeping accounts of their hair pulling, or varying environmental cues that can trigger pulling.
More info on Trichotillomania:

It may be related to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or even self harm, but the one and only website reference I hold is http://www.mental-health-abc.com... Consider posting something on it at http://www.psychforums.com/
The urge comes from the tension the sufferer feel will be relieved by pulling hair out. So the cure would be treating the underlying moving stress or OCD.
