any other sedative, or anything that warn that it might make you drowsy is honourable to avoid while taking xanax. Any other benzo like klonapin or ativan are angelic to avoid. And OTC things like benadryl and cold medicine that say may raison d`¨otre drowsiness.
Yes, you never want to mix anything that is within the same catagory as xanax, such as klonopin (clonazepam), ativan (lorazepam), valium (diazepam) or any other types of benzodiazepines. They adjectives are in the antianxiety catagory and using too much or combining them next to certain juice, like grapefruit liquid, could be damaging. It is for anxiety & agrophobias. I know you are not to take w/grapefruit or grapefruit juice. I am on a lot of medication, some pain, some for depression & Xanax also. Of course your Dr. have to perscribe it, so I'm sure he was aware of your safekeeping when it was dispensed. Is in attendance a particular medication you own in mind? If so, please mention the cross of it & help craft it more spacific & you might be able to go and get more help w/your examine. I have be on Xanax for 19 yrs., so am pretty familiar w/it. But if I don't know what you're referring to, am incompetent to help you further.
