Can anyone recommend any books on anxiety?

rather than those containing clincial information but self help, not a big devotee of medsCan anyone recommend any books on anxiety?
The following are excellent and lean more towards learning coping skills instead of medication: The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmond Bourne M.D., Don't Panic by Reid Wilson, Calming Your Anxious Mind by Jeffrey Brantley and Jon Kabat-Zinn, Self-Coaching Book and Instructions by Dr. Joseph Luciani and finally Beyond Anxiety and Phobia by Edmond Bourne PH.D.. I hope these will confer you a place to start and help. I hope your anxiety improve and you are feeling better soon~
Instead of books u can try spending your time within creative works like gardening, fine art ,yoga, danceetc or try some bright colourfulstory books with morals it will hold agreat positive effect on your mind.
yes!
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers
The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook- Edmund J. Bourne
btw, don't be harsh on meds they can really help when other methods go amiss...there are heaps different kinds that could group your needs...dutiful luck!

I liked the Anxiety and Phobia workbook.
This isn't a book devoted to the subject. "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie. I've have anxiety issues my whole time and that book helped me A LOT.
I've read most of the other ones recommended too. They're also dutiful.
