Anyone on on risperadol for bipolar? How does it work for you?

Does the drug work? Does it knock you out and help you sleep? Tell me just about your experience because seroquel is putting on the weight...and my doc mentioned switching so I be curious if it was a angelic drug and controlled mania...Thanks so much and virtuous luck to all bipolars!Anyone on on risperadol for bipolar? Risperdal would put on the shipment too. That is one of the major side effects of this drug. My son is on it and he have gone up three pants sizes since December. It works wonders though and have been our miracle drug. It have almost completely eliminated his rage that he was have for hours at a time. It is an excellent drug without copious side effects...the only one that I notice in my son be weight gain. My husband is on it for his bipolar too and it works powerfully for him. It does not knock my son out so that he is a zombie, but it does help him sleep a touch better than he was.
i took risperadol for a yr and a partly, and it worked beautifully. esp for stopping my mnd from acing and voice and stuff. I only have to stop because it caused nipple discharge, which my doc told me could be disadvantageous later..as for other side affects, it be a while ago and i was on so much that i dont really remember those that much.sorry roughly speaking that
